NRN Customer Referral T&Cs

Referral Campaign – Summary T&Cs

Campaign Period: The NRN Referral Campaign runs from 10 December 2025 to 13 February 2026, or earlier if it reaches 450 successful customer sign-ups.

Earn $2,026 for every successful referral. To be eligible, referrals must use your unique referral link or code and be submitted during the Campaign Period. A referred customer must sign their NRN contract by the end of the Campaign Period to qualify as an eligible referral. Referees must also meet all NRN and energy retailer eligibility requirements. If a referee does not progress to installation for any reason, the referral is not considered successful.

Unlimited referrals may be submitted; however, the campaign will end once 450 successful customer sign-ups are reached or on 13 February 2026, whichever occurs first. NRN may amend or withdraw the campaign if necessary. Any changes will not affect referrals submitted prior to the date of the change.

Referral rewards are paid via bank transfer within 30 days after the referred customer’s installation is completed and activated. Referrers receive a financial benefit for each successful referral.

1. Eligibility to Refer

1.1 The following groups may participate as NRN Referral Partners during the Campaign Period:

  • Existing NRN customers, who are automatically approved to participate

1.2 Referral Partners who are existing customers must have an active NRN account in good standing at the time of referral.

2. How to Refer

2.1 Each Referral Partner will be provided with a unique NRN referral link or code.

2.2 To make a referral, the referee (the person being referred) must complete the NRN Referral Form using the Referral Partner’s unique link or code.

2.3 Referrals made through any other method (e.g. verbal, email without code/link, social media comments, etc.) will not be considered valid.

2.4 Only referrals submitted during the Campaign Period will be eligible for rewards.

2.5 Referral Partners must not submit any personal information on behalf of the referee, unless the referee has given express, informed consent to be contacted by NRN. All data is handled in accordance with NRN’s Privacy Policy.

3. What Counts as a Successful Referral

A referral is considered “successful” when all of the following conditions have been met:

3.1 The referee is a new NRN customer (not already in the NRN database, not already in the sales pipeline, and not previously contacted by NRN).

3.2 The Referee must sign their NRN agreement before the end of the Campaign Period. Acceptance by the energy retailer (including signing the Alinta Energy Solar Together Plan) may occur after the Campaign Period; however, installation must ultimately proceed for the referral to be considered successful.

3.3 The referee’s solar and battery installation is fully completed by an NRN-authorised Solar Retail Partner.

3.4 The installation passes all required safety, compliance and metering checks.

3.5 The referee has not used more than one referral code. Where multiple codes are present, NRN will apply the earliest valid submission.

3.6 Installation is deemed complete once the system is installed, activated, and has passed all compliance and metering checks, as determined by NRN.

3.7 NRN does not guarantee that a referee will be accepted as a customer. Eligibility depends on property suitability, regulatory checks, technical feasibility, and credit assessment where applicable.

3.8 NRN may require identity verification or additional information to validate eligibility or prevent fraud.

Only once all conditions are satisfied will the referral be deemed “successful”.

4. Referral Rewards

4.1 Eligible Referral Partners will receive $2,026 for each successful referral.

4.2 Rewards are paid only after the referee’s installation is complete.

4.3 Payments will be made via bank transfer or other methods at NRN’s discretion. Referral Partners must provide accurate banking details for payment.

4.4 NRN may require identity verification before releasing any payment.

4.5 Referrals are unlimited, up to the campaign maximum of 450 successful referrals during the Campaign Period.

5. Conduct and Communication Rules

5.1 Referral Partners must not make any representations, promises, guarantees, or statements about NRN products or pricing except those contained in NRN-approved materials.

5.4 Referral Partners must not create their own advertising, marketing materials, sponsored posts, or paid promotions. Only NRN-approved materials may be used.

5.5 Referral Partners act in their own capacity and are not agents, employees, contractors, or authorised representatives of NRN.

6. Disqualification and Fraud Prevention

6.1 NRN reserves the right to disqualify any referral where:

  • Information has been falsified;
  • A referee was already an NRN lead or customer;
  • The Referral Partner attempts to refer themselves or their own property;
  • Multiple referrals appear to originate from automated systems, bots, or mass-generated lists, purchased databases, scraped data, or unsolicited bulk messaging, including the use of purchased databases, scraped data, AI-generated lead lists, or mass-messaging tools.

6.2 NRN may withhold payment pending investigation of any suspicious activity.

7. Notification and Tracking

7.1 Referral Partners will receive email or SMS notifications at key stages:

  • Referral submitted: NRN confirms that the Referee has submitted the lead form using the Referrer’s link or code.
  • NRN contract approved: NRN confirms when the Referee’s NRN agreement has been approved and countersigned.
  • Installation complete and system activated (reward released): NRN notifies the Referrer once the Referee’s system has been installed, activated, and the referral is deemed successful. This notification includes confirmation that the referral reward will be processed within the applicable timeframe.

7.2 Referral Partners may request an update on the status of their referrals by contacting NRN Support.

8. Campaign Period
